Integrated Community Empowerment Program, South Sudan

The Integrated Community Empowerment Program in South Sudan aims to uplift disadvantaged women, youth, and marginalized individuals in Central Equatoria and Warrap States over 12 months, with a budget of $65,000.

Addressing persistent poverty, limited education, and low awareness of human rights, the project focuses on economic empowerment (through revolving loans), human rights advocacy, and expanded educational access.

Its objectives are to improve household income, increase community-level advocacy for human dignity and rights, and foster resilience and social cohesion.

Expected outcomes include stronger family livelihoods, greater participation in justice and advocacy efforts, enhanced access to education, and deeper relational bonds within and between communities.
