Initiatives Training for Christian Youth Leaders on Sustainable Tourism Practices Reducing Poverty in Zanzibar

An ALARM project in Zanzibar will train 40 youth leaders from various Christian denominations in sustainable tourism practices to reduce poverty, with a budget of $12,000.

The project will engage young Christian leaders who have not yet tapped into the tourism sector’s economic potential.

By equipping them to participate in ethical, environmentally responsible tourism, the initiative aims to create jobs, improve the social conditions of the Christian minority, and promote stewardship of God’s creation.

Your gift toward the $12,000 needed will help Christian youth step into the tourism industry as salt and light—supporting their families, caring for the environment, and strengthening their witness in the wider community.
