The project in Tanzania, initiated by the Department of Peace Building, Restorative Justice, and Reconciliation, will train religious leaders in Arusha and Mara regions to combat gender-based violence (GBV), with a budget of $13,500.
Focusing on cultural practices such as child marriage and female genital mutilation—especially among the Maasai and other tribes—the project will equip pastors and other religious leaders with biblical teaching and practical tools to protect women and children, challenge harmful norms, and promote healing in families.
Your gift toward the $13,500 needed will help trusted church leaders stand up for women and children made in God’s image, speaking out against abuse and fostering homes and communities marked by Christ’s justice and love.
