The Burera Pig Farming Relocation and Expansion Project in Rwanda is a one-year initiative to move existing pig farming operations to a more suitable agricultural site in Burera District, in compliance with government land-use regulations.
The project will construct modern pig houses, implement waste management systems to produce compost, and provide training in biosecurity and animal health.
It will directly benefit 100 participants and indirectly support around 500 community members by increasing breeding stock, strengthening local food production, and promoting organic farming practices.
