Pastoral Leadership Training, Burundi

The Pastoral Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is one of the most powerful, transformative programs at African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM). PLTI enhances the educational capacity of untrained pastors in Bible and theology by equipping them with the theoretical and practical intellectual skills necessary for evangelism, discipleship, and holistic community transformation.

The Pastoral Leadership Training Institute (PLTI), a three-year project by African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM) starting in 2026, aims to train 30 pastors and 10 lay leaders in Bubanza.

PLTI enhances untrained pastors’ skills in Bible, theology, and servant leadership through modular training. Participants meet thrice a year for seven days thrice to foster personal spiritual growth, mentorship, and community development, while effectively addressing conflicts within the African church.

The program equips leaders with biblical knowledge and practical skills to build healthy churches and engage in reconciliation efforts, ultimately promoting social cohesion and community transformation.

Would you prayerfully consider giving so that these 40 emerging leaders can be thoroughly equipped to shepherd God’s people and become agents of healing and reconciliation in Burundi?
