In Kenya’s Kajiado County, ALARM Kenya, in partnership with the Imaroro Pastors Fellowship, will conduct a year-long General Leadership Training program for 50 pastors and church leaders in Imaroro Ward, situated within Mashuru Sub-County in Kajiado County, an area characterized as semi-arid and predominantly populated by the Maasai community.
As a pastoralist community, the Maasai encounter distinct social and economic challenges. Furthermore, the region has experienced a significant increase in the establishment of churches from a variety of denominations, many of which are led by pastors who lack formal training in pastoral studies, leadership, or peacebuilding..
With a budget of $9,000, the initiative will focus on essential areas such as Christian Leadership principles, stewardship, conflict resolution, and the Church’s role in community development.
The training will be delivered in two three-day sessions, aimed at equipping participants with skills to address local social and economic challenges, foster community transformation, and strengthen local leadership networks through mentoring and peer learning.
Would you prayerfully consider giving toward the $9,000 needed to train and equip these pastors to shepherd God’s people and serve their communities?
