Between November and January, the Water Project staff was able to identify beneficiaries of the water tanks. In total, 4 tanks were built in 2 different areas and at the end of January, the staff went with a team of doctors to identify the sites where the hand-washing stations will be built.
In August, Marie-Jeanne (The ALARM DR Congo Country Director) facilitated a conference for women leaders. During this conference, Marie-Jeanne taught women leaders of all religions on how to face challenges. There were 323 attendees who participated in teachings on justice, empowerment, and the basic dignities of women/girls.
