Construction of Six (6) Classrooms at IWE School, Rwanda

The Community Transformation Department is undertaking a project to construct six new classrooms at the IWE School (Institute of Women for Excellence) in Rwanda, over three months, with a budget of $122,000.

Founded in 2006 by ALARM, IWE promotes science education for girls and supports their recovery from the trauma of genocide. The school has grown to serve over 620 students, with expanded facilities and a strong academic reputation.

However, overcrowding has compromised the learning environment, with some classes exceeding Ministry of Education standards. The new classrooms are essential to accommodate increased enrollment, comply with regulations, and ensure that existing facilities (including labs and libraries) are used as intended.

Ultimately, this project will improve students’ academic performance, comfort, and overall learning conditions.

Would you prayerfully consider investing $122,000 so that more girls can learn in safe, Christ-centered classrooms, discover their God-given potential, and become leaders who shape Rwanda’s future for His glory?
