We are so excited for and proud of the 14th class of Brenda tailoring students who officially graduated from the tailoring school on January 28th. This graduation was held in partnership with Rise Up Woman International who has come alongside this group of future tailors to support them and champion them in their future careers. 70

ALARM Congo works in partnership with Water Is Basic to provide clean water to vulnerable communities. During the months of November and December, 5 rain catch systems were built and have since been providing clean water to community members. The increase in access to clean water is saving lives and impacting communities!

On October 15th-17th, Reverend Theo led a Women’s Leadership Conference. As these women met together, they were encouraged and taught the importance of their role as women in their families, churches, and society. Reverend Theo used influential women from scripture to demonstrate the importance of women leadership and the role of women in peacebuilding, reconciliation, and servant leadership.

On October 1st-2nd, ALARM DR Congo facilitated a General Youth Conference to develop young leaders to understand their impact on families, churches, and nations. As Reverend Theo, the DR Congo Coordinator of Servant Leadership taught these youth, he referenced young Biblical characters and how they demonstrated bravery, trust in God, and hard work.
