ALARM believes that the crisis facing Africa is not poverty or disease, but a lack of good leaders who put the needs of their communities and churches above their personal and tribal interests. Through its servant leadership training, ALARM provides the skills needed in theology, evangelism, church planting, discipleship, Biblical peacebuilding, reconciliation, and conflict resolution to pastors and lay leaders so that they can lead well.

ALARM also works to train Christian and other religious leaders, government officials, lawyers, judges, police, soldiers, and chaplains in servant leadership, good governance, and peacebuilding, to create sustainable change as they work amidst corruption.
