As servant leaders are trained and, in turn, train others, they begin to see their communities differently, allowing them to identify and address local concerns and challenges that have become commonplace—such as tribalism and domestic violence.

ALARM is committed to walking alongside these leaders by providing basic skills to empower and support their local initiatives. These initiatives focus on social justice, including providing legal aid for the vulnerable and voiceless, caring for widows and orphans, providing basic health education, teaching life skills for boys and girls in communities recovering from wars, and economically empowering women and the poor.
