Youth Advocacy Program

When violence tears whole countries apart, thousands of children must fend for themselves. Sometimes their stories become widely known, even in the west. More often these children are unknown and unnoticed, coming to adulthood with little reason for hope—a generation robbed of their future by a horrific past.
ALARM’s Youth Advocacy Program helps create new opportunities for these young people through evangelism, discipleship, and vocational training. Coming alongside ALARM staff, volunteers and short-term missionaries may participate in YAP programs like sports outreach or HIV education. They may also offer instruction in trades like carpentry, construction, tailoring, or computer skills.
